Chile Hoe-Down

A pastel landscape along the Rio Grande in New Mexico. The workers are weeding the rows of green chile with hoes. Hard work but New Mexico chile is the best! The New Mexico State question is, "Red or green?" (when dining out and ordering in a restaurant.) Of course, you can opt for "Christmas" and have red and green chile.

Pastel on Pastelbord. 12 x 9 inches. This landscape is in a private collection in Magdalena, New Mexico.
