Snyder's Draw

Painted as a replacement painting. An original painting was purchased by the Snyders at a fundraiser way back when we first moved to Bastrop in 1997 or so. Their home and the painting burned in the big Bastrop Fires in 2011 (our home, too). My work is guaranteed so I finally painted a replacement for them. The original was some buttes on the plains and was fairly yellow in evening sun painted in oil. I like this for a replacement, painted in pastel. The Snyders liked it to. Jeff is a metal worker, wood carver, photographer and rock polisher. He gave us a new Texas Star for our home made of railroad spikes. Thanks, Jeff.
