Lookin' for Rain on the Flats

This is a favorite photo op for Jo. The Ladron Mountains are centered between Magdalena and Albuquerque. The clouds were perfect this day. When working cattle on hot days, the riders would look forward to the shady spots whenever a cloud showed up. This painting was accepted to be in the Austin Pastel Society Juried Show at the Corridor of Art.
